CT's Premiere Minor League Professional Football Team

The New England Knights family has suffered another major loss, the passing of "Coach John" Lorenzo. Coach john was part of the Knight organization for over 10 years and was loved by all that ever met him. John touched many players on a personal and professional level. Always upbeat, always ready to lend a hand, always ready with the trademark "fist bump". John will be missed by everyone in the Knights organization as well as anyone who ever met him.

Today the New England Knights announce with heavy hearts the passing of Len Mirto. Lenny was the one and only team announcer for the Knights and was loved by all.  Lenny was also an inductee into the Knights Hall of Fame. Lenny made even the most exciting Knights games more exciting with his feel for the game and the thoughts of those in the stands. Lenny always had the right mixture of knowing the game and knowing how to bring the game to his listeners. From the play by play like no other to the loving nicknames he gave players Lenny was an original. Out of all the things on Lenny's Knights resume his signature call of "GO OOOOO...KNIGHTS!!!" will live forever in the world of the New England Knights.
